Many people are trying to find the “way” to Heaven.  Jesus Christ said “I am the way, the truth and the Life; no one comes to the Father except through Me.”  The Bible plainly sets forth the way in which a person can be assured of Heaven:

1. We must acknowledge that we are sinners.

Romans 3:23 tells us, “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”

2. We must realize the price tag on sin.

God cannot allow sin to go unpunished!  Romans 6:23 says, “ For the wages of sin is death” and Revelation 20:14 adds, “And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.”

3. We must understand that God paid sin’s price for us.

Romans 5:8 states, “But God proved His love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”

4. God will save us from our sins and take us to Heaven, if…

We will simply place our faith in Jesus Christ, and Him alone, for salvation!  Ephesians 2:8-9 says it this way,  “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.” Romans 10:13 explains how to receive Jesus as Savior: “For whoever calls on the name of the Lord hall be saved.”
